Our team is continually monitoring the state and federal courts for updates as to hearings and jury trial delays due to Covid-19 and the related executive orders from local and state government. Mediations and depositions can be conducted remotely using video conferencing, while some of these events are being postponed until conditions improve. Assouline and Berlowe is closely monitoring the Court Orders regarding Covid-19. In most cases, hearings are being held remotely to keep the wheels of justice moving. Only specific essential matters are being held in person. Most, jury trials have been suspended while stay at home orders are in effect.
